He has won several awards including the Canadian Forces Decoration with Clasp, the Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal, Special Service Medal and the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus Medal.

Episode Two – Chris Ward – February 28, 2019

Chris Ward

This episode we have Chris Ward speaking with me about his journey to success as an EHS Professional. Chris is the President and Health Safety Executive Principal Inspector of IMS Global Standards and the owner of EHSQ Professionals ISO 45001 LinkedIn Group, and a Committee member of the drafting ISO 45001 of the British Standards Institution (BSI). He has just launched his ISO 45001 training and Assessment program now available online at Amazon.

Chris is best known for his thought leadership and EHS Professional contributions regarding ISO 45001 and readying companies to adopt the new standard. He has several publications, including Managing for Health and Safety, and the OHSMS guide for UK regulators, local authority HSAWA enforcement officers.

Episode Three – Rosa Carrillo – March 28, 2019

In this episode I will be interviewing Rosa Antonia Carrillo, the founder of Carrillo & Associates, about how relationships help build psychologically safe work environment, and Rosa’s new book “The Relationship Factor in Safety Leadership” which is expected to be released May 2019. Rosa is a thought leader in transformational leadership and team development.

Since 1997, Rosa Carrillo has been publishing about the importance of relationship, trust and open communication in organizational performance. She developed an approach to help managers understand and adopt their role as relationship centered leaders. She has extensive experience and expertise across a range of sectors including government, nuclear, corporate, industry and community sectors over 30 years.
